  • Anyone desiring certification as a NACE Cathodic Protection Tester

A Cathodic Protection Tester candidate should have entry level knowledge of galvanic and impressed current cathodic protection systems.

Successful completion of the following course: NACE CP 1 - Cathodic Protection Tester Course

To begin the certification process:

Register for the NACE CP 1 Course

Candidates have four (4) years to complete all requirements.

Upon successful completion of requirements, the candidate will be awarded a NACE Cathodic Protection Tester Certification.

Certification renewal requirements

  • An approved Recertification application is required every 3 years
  • 1.5 year’s work experience
  • 24 Professional development hours (8 hours per year)

    • Non-Members - $475 USD
