Certification: Corrosion Technician

This certification is geared towards personnel with at least 2 years of experience and who possess basic knowledge of corrosion and corrosion control and are capable of performing routine, well defined work under the close direction of Specialist or Senior Technologist personnel.

Application Procedure

An application must first be submitted prior to taking the examination only option to allow time for NACE to verify work experience requirements.

If seeking certification through the parallel path option, an application may be submitted upon successful completion of the required NACE course, for verification of work experience requirements.

All NACE Certifications must be renewed every three (3) years.
